This project started with the desire to explore Aygalades Creek in Marseille, a buried, forgotten waterway going for several kilometers through hills, public housing estates, old suburbs, and the city’s gentrifying neighborhoods, discovering an often rugged mineral, vegetal, and industrial geography, sometimes coming up against large-scale urban planning projects. Wending my way between open perspectives and blind walls, I became attached to the environment, observing and collecting forms and subjects in search of vitality, playing with points of view and dealing with the area’s ruggedness. It has been initially made as photo conversation with photographer Valérie Jouve with the support of Olympus France for the Rencontres de la photographie d'Arles. (2017-2018)
